Our Xinmin rock climbers did the school proud last weekend as they clinched multiple prizes at the annual boulder competition — Gravical 2012.
Although a flu virus had attacked many of our climbers, they persevered bravely and gave their all. Our youngest climbers in the ‘C’ Division
also surpassed expectations in their first important event.

In the Under-17 boys category, Lionel Lee (Class 403) emerged 3rd, and following closely behind in 5th, 6th and 8th position were Kenneth Lim (Class 409),
Tan Ee Hua (Class 304) and Ryan Tay (Class 303).

For the girls, coming in 2nd was Siti Nurhazlin Bte Zaidey (Class 407), while Iris Lee (Class 409) and Deryl Ng (Class 301) tied at 4th place. The proudest moment of the day was reserved for the Novice category, as Siti Nurhazlin Bte Zaidey and Kenneth Lim had a strong finish together in 1st place. Despite being the youngest competitors, they outshone every other climber from the polytechnics, junior colleges and universities. Well done XRC!
