Under the Direct Schools Admission Exercise, students with exceptional talents listed below can be considered for direct entry to Xinmin Secondary School for the Secondary 1 cohort of 2013.
Short-listed applicants will be required to attend a trial, audition and interview with the Selection Panel. Short-listed applicants will be informed of the dates and times of the trial, audition and interview through a telephone call.

|
-Represented school in Zonal/National Volleyball Tournament. OR
-Member of any volleyball club (eg. School, Community Clubs, Academy), OR
-Represented School/Club/Constituency in preferably ball and/or racket games and 1.65m and above.
(Documentary proof is required for all the above)

Badminton (Girls)
|
- Represented School in Zonal / National Badminton Championship
- Has at least 3 years of training & playing experiences with school or with club.
- Training with JSA will be a bonus.

|
- Record of good perfomance in competitions at National and / International level.
(Documentary proof is required.)
