Our Details
Xinmin Chinese Dance Troupe was first established in 1995 with only 5 members. Since then, it had grown tremendously. It now consists of 80 passionate and talented young dancers. Under the tutelage of renowned dance instructor, Zuo Yi, the dance troupe had been clinching Gold Awards in the SYF from the year 2001 onwards. In 2007,2009 and 2011, we were awarded the prestigious Gold with honours Award due to our impressive performance in the SYF.

Apart from the regular school performances, the XM Chinese Dance Troupe has held various public concerts such as Kaleidoscope (2005,2010) and Xinthesis (2006,2008, 2012) The dancers were also given the opportunity to participate in the annual Dance Camp, Adventure Camp and the Chinese immersion and bi-cultural trip. In 2009, our young dancers visited Zhejiang to broaden their horizon and learn new skills and techniques from fellow aspiring dancers in China.
