Scholars' Programme
scholars_programme_pic1 In view of the continued diversified demands of an increasingly globalised world, we seek to develop our top students to compete with the best at the highest levels. It is with this in mind that we have conceived the Xinmin Scholars' Programme to provide an enriched holistic educational experience for highachieving students.

The programme seeks to enhance global and cultural perspectives, keeping students abreast with current issues and equipping them with skills to tap into global networks. The emphasis on service learning serves to develop organisational and leadership skills through theoretical and practical situations within an affective framework, providing relevance and connectivity to real-world contexts.

In the course of the programme, scholars will engage in the following:

-A national or international level project -based activity
-An international service learning project (in Cambodia)
-A bicultural immersion programme
-An introduction to various problem solving frameworks (e.g. Six-Step Problem Solving, Gantt charting, etc) to be applied to their project

Workshops and discussion forums with a focus on developing personal awareness and social competencies (e.g. personal grooming, interview skills, leadership, MBTI, etc)

When a scholar graduates from our programme, they would have had the opportunity to cultivate and maxi mise their own individualised knowledge and strengths and ability, and learnt to help others do the same, truly leading hearts and leading minds.
