With a rich tradition of 65 years of building people, Xinmin Secondary School has produced many grateful citizens, movers, entrepreneurs, thinkers and leaders in various fields.  Many, in their quiet ways, have been giving back to the school, heeding the school’s call of “remembering the source which has given them the foundation for success in life”.

Over the last six decades in this school, what have changed or evolved may be the methods, the technologies, and systems in teaching and learning, communication, and talent identification and development, but the core of the Xinmin’s educational philosophy and values of respect, responsibility, integrity, mindset of excellence, and more importantly, loyalty to school, and the understanding of our place and our role, set our students apart from the rest.  Hence in joining Xinmin Secondary, each member needs to be able to identify with these set of values and understand the rich background associated with the school in order to grasp and reap more fully and purposefully the educational provisions and opportunities.

At Xinmin, our systems are at its peak as we continue to innovate to bring out the best in our pupils.  We have a well-defined set of educational outcomes, in the domains of Attitudes, Skills and Knowledge, which are aligned closely with the 21st century set of competencies to help our pupils do well, even after they leave our school.  We aim to produce selfless students who lead with both their hearts and their minds through their outstanding character, intellect, and a sense of duty and honour to their school, community and country.
